�S.T. SUIT / SUITLAND, MD� Tanware Advertising Jug, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jug with stenciled Albany slip advertising, �S.T. SUIT. / SUITLAND, MD. / LITTLE BROWN JUG / THE WHISKEY IN THIS JUG / WAS MADE 1869 / AND JUGGED BY ME / 1880�. V-shaped crack on underside, extending 2 1/2� up base of jug. Wear to spout. Horizontal hairline in handle. H 7 1/4�.
