Fine One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1850, ovoid pitcher with tooled foot, profusely-decorated with a brushed cobalt vine featuring leaves and fan-shaped flowers. Collar decorated with cobalt swags and rim accented with a brushed cobalt stripe. Restored handle. Faint hairline in underside, continuing 3" up front of pitcher. Two small chips on interior of spout, where it meets the rim of the pitcher. Tiny stone ping to exterior of spout. H 10 1/2".
