Four-Gallon Stoneware Churn with Large Cobalt Bird Decoration, attributed to Flack & van Arsdale, Ontario, Canada, circa 1875, semi-ovoid churn with flared rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a large slip-trailed cobalt design of a long-tailed bird perched on a curled branch. Some fry to cobalt. Stone ping to one handle. Restored cracks on reverse, side, and underside. 2 1/2" hairline from rim on front. H 16 1/2".
