Glazed Redware Lidded Jar, New England or PA origin, early to mid 19th century, ovoid jar with rounded foot, flared collar, and applied tab handles, the body decorated with incised wavy lines, the shoulder with incised banding. Surface decorated with daubs of manganese under a clear lead glaze. Original domed lid with similar glazing. Chips and wear to lid edge and knob. 1" shallow base chip and other smaller base chips to jar. Very minor handle wear. Minor wear to rim and body of jar. H (including lid) 11 1/2".
