Two-Gallon Bristol-Slip-Glazed Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, late 19th or early 20th century, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with cobalt fan-tailed bird on a leaf. Provenance: Laurence Fish Estate, Trenton, NJ. Hairlines on underside, continuing onto base. Rim chips. 2 1/2" and 2" hairlines from rim on reverse. Glaze flaws to decoration. H 8 3/4".
