Two Stoneware Crocks with Cobalt Bird Decorations, Stamped "WHITES UTICA, N.Y.," second half 19th century, a three-gallon crock with fan-tailed bird decoration, paired with a four-gallon crock with very large bird perched on a stem. Provenance: Lynn White Collection, Readfield, ME. Three-gallon crock has flaking to surface, fry to cobalt, crack in reverse extending onto underside, and handle and rim chips. Four-gallon crock missing handles, has large cracks from rim, a rim chip, and flaking to surface. H (of three-gallon crock) 10".
