One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to R.J. Grier, Chester County, PA, circa 1875, ovoid-bodied pitcher with tooled collar and foot, the front decorated with a two-stemmed cobalt tulip design. Collar decorated with cobalt leaves. Base chips. 2 3/4" hairline from rim with small chip from rim. Faint 3 1/4" line on underside. H 10 1/2".
