Spongeware Syrup Jug, probably F.H. Weeks, Akron, OH, late 19th century, large-sized, molded jug with raised oak leaf design around shoulder and attached wood and metal bail handle, the surface decorated with sponged cobalt over a whitish Bristol slip. Paint wear to handle. Small spout chip and two small chips to interior of opening. Small stone ping to top of one ear. Four base chips. Wear to wooden handle. H 8".
