Rare Redware Charger with Yellow Slip Horse Decoration, attributed to Jacob Medinger, Limerick Township, Montgomery County, PA, late 19th century, with coggled edge, decorated with a folky design of a standing horse in yellow slip, surrounded by sponged manganese. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Pencil inscription on underside reads "Medinger's work". Desirable size and decoration. Excellent condition with a few rim chips and a few glaze scratches to the interior, located to the right of the horse and underneath it. H 12 3/4".
