Multi-Glazed Redware Flowerpot, attributed to S. Bell & Son, Strasburg, VA origin, circa 1890, ovoid pot with flared rim and attached saucer, both with coggled rims. Pot decorated with streaks of green and brown over a cream-colored slip. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze. 1 1/2" hairline from rim, barely visible on interior, along with a 1 1/2" glazed-over separation line from rim, which is barely visible on exterior. Wear to rim of pot. 1" strip of wear to rim of saucer along with minor other wear to saucer's rim. Wear to bottom edge of saucer. H 5 1/4".
