Unusual Slip-Decorated Redware Pitcher, American, early 19th century, ovoid-bodied pitcher with tooled shoulder, ribbed handle, and heavily-tooled collar, decorated around the midsection with a slip-trailed cream-colored vine with leaves, around the base with a green copper wave-like design, and along the collar with vertical green copper stripes. Design applied over a green and orange ground. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Heavy chipping to rim. Wear to slip decoration. Wear to handle. Two small chips to molding below collar. H 6".
