Georgia Pottery Slave Tiles, 18th or 19th century, glazed pottery tiles with different molded designs. One with square designs, another with criss-cross designs, and a third with star designs. Tiles of this type were reportedly made and used by slaves in Georgia as grave markers and garden tiles. Chips and wear to edges and raised areas. H (of each tile) 8" ; Width (of each tile) 8".
