Two-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1850, ovoid-bodied pitcher with tooled foot and collar, decorated with a series of brushed cobalt swags and hanging flowers around the midsection. Collar decorated with cobalt swags. Two diagonal hairlines, measuring 9" and 6 1/2", extending up from base. 6 1/2" diagonal hairline to right of handle. 4" line on interior of collar, which does not go through to exterior. Y-shaped hairline in underside. H 12 3/4".
