Two Salt-Glazed Stoneware Pig Bottles, probably Midwestern origin, 19th century, a molded pig bottle with drinking hole in snout, paired with another molded pig bottle with hole in rear and incised and cobalt-highlighted facial details. Undecorated bottle with shallow snout chip. Decorated bottle in as-made condition with in-the-firing flakes of rear legs. Length (of undecorated bottle) 6 1/4".
