Rare Folk Art Stoneware Albany Slip Glazed Pig Bottle, Incised "JBL / 1889," bottle or jug in the form of a fat-bodied pig with high-arching tail handle, spout at rear, applied legs, and applied and incised facial features. Surface, except for underside, covered in an Albany slip glaze. Underside incised with the initials and date "JBL / 1889." Whimsical form. Restored chips to tips of snout, mouth, and ears. Small restored spout chip. Length 8 1/4" ; Width 4 1/2".
