Three-Gallon Stoneware "Ice Water" Cooler with Lid, attributed to the Wingender Pottery, Haddonfield, NJ, late 19th century, keg-form cooler with tooled and cobalt-highlighted bands. The words "Ice Water" are incised across the front and highlighted in cobalt, flanked by incised foliate designs. Bung hole is in the form of a bearded man's face. Includes original salt glazed lid with cobalt bands and Albany slip top. Small chips to lid. 7 1/4" crack from rim on reverse. 2" hairline on underside, continuing 2" up front of cooler. H (including lid) 15".
