Rare Large-Sized Multi-Glazed Redware Flowerpot, Strasburg, VA origin, attributed to S. Bell & Son or J. Eberly & Co., circa 1890, ovoid flowerpot with attached saucer and coggled edges, decorated with lead and splashed copper and manganese glazes over a cream-colored slip. Exceptional size, form, and condition. Some crazing to rim, which does not go through to interior. 1/2" worn spot to rim, a few small spots of glaze loss, and 1/2" shallow saucer chip. H 10 1/2".
