July 27, 2024. 3:14pm. With a $1.35 million sale total coming in at 35% over high estimate, we want to thank you for making our Summer 2024 Twentieth Anniversary Auction such a success! This sale surpassed several of our recent auctions and we are so grateful to all of you--bidders and consignors--for the critical role you have played in our business over the last 20 years!
Winning bidders will be receiving their invoices first thing Monday morning. Also, a special shout-out to the lucky winner of our 20th Anniversary Commemorative Stoneware Jar! We hope you love it, Ted. Thank you again to everyone. All our best, The Zipps
July 26, 2024. 4:43pm. A few final notes: Remember that the online auction closes at 9pm this evening, with a soft close of 10 minutes for lots that receive bids after 8:50pm. For a full explanation of how the auction works, please visit our
How to Bid page.
All under-$5000 lots sell this evening; those that reach the $5000 threshold are sold tomorrow during our final phone bidding session, open only to those lots' top four bidders. (Please see our
How to Bid page if you are unfamiliar with how our auctions work.)
You can follow the
phone bidding session tomorrow
here, and phone lots are called based on a
schedule of hour-long windows that we have already compiled.
Please take a look at this page if you plan on being a phone bidder.
All successful bidders or top four phone bidders will receive emails after the bidding has completed this evening. Winning bidders receive invoices first thing Monday morning with totals that by default include shipping; you can, of course, also pick your items up, weekdays 9-4.
Finally, don't forget that we will be drawing the winner of our
20th Anniversary Commemorative Stoneware Jar at the conclusion of tomorrow's phone session. We will notify the winner via email.
Best of luck to all and thanks so much for your interest in our auctions! All our best,
