Sewer Tile Figure of an Elephant, Signed and Dated "HE / 56," probably OH origin, 1956, hand-modeled figure of an elephant with long curving trunk, incised eyes and mouth, and small applied tail. Underside incised with the conjoined-initial signature, "HE(?)," and the date, "56." Excellent condition with a tiny nick to one foot. L 6 3/4".
