Fine Glazed Redware Bank with Two-Color Slip Decoration, PA or possibly NC origin, 19th century, ovoid form with stem-like finial and carved diagonal slot at shoulder, the surface decorated with vertical stripes of manganese and cream-colored slip under a clear lead glaze. Edge of slot with two flakes and minor wear. Minor wear to finial. Very minor wear to slip. Semi-circular kiln scar on underside. H 3 1/4".
