Unusual Hand-Molded Brick Clay Jug, Inscribed "S. Kahler / N.W.O. / August 5th, 1891," probably Midwestern origin, 1891, hand-modeled, hollow jug with wide spout, inscribed with a carved inscription and date. Composed of reddish-orange brick clay. A long horizontal crack at base including a small chip to underside. H 9".
