Three One-Gallon Cobalt-Stenciled Stoneware Jars, Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1875-1880, all of cylindrical form with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rims; one with stenciled plow and tulip motifs, stenciled "T.F. REPPERT. / GREENSBORO. PA;" one with stenciled shield motif, stenciled "T.F. REPPERT. / SUCCESSOR / TO / J. HAMILTON & CO." / GREENSBORO, PA.;" and one stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES. / H & J / GREENSBORO. / PA." Plow jar with a hole on side (larger on interior) with an approximately 4 1/2" vertical hairline running through it, a large base chip, a 2 1/2" hairline to underside, staining to surface, and bubbling to glaze. Shield jar with surface wear, an inverted L-shaped crack descending 4" from rim on reverse, nicks to shoulder molding, and minor staining. H&J jar with surface wear. H (of each) approx. 10".
