Three Hartford, CT Stoneware Jugs, circa 1815-1825, all of ovoid form, a small-sized jug with brown wash under a clear salt glaze, stamped "GOODALE / & / STEDMAN;" and two salt-glazed, ovoid jugs with cobalt-highlighted maker's marks and handle terminals, one stamped "GOODALE / & / STEDMAN / HARTFORD," the other stamped "GOODWIN / & / WEBSTER." Smallest in excellent, essentially as-made condition. Larger Goodale & Stedman jug with a base chip, a small glazed-over base chip, and a small spot of wear to reverse. Goodwin & Webster jug with chip to handle, an in-the-firing contact mark to top of handle, and an in-the-firing contact mark to top of spout. H (of smallest) 10".
