Five Pieces of Albany-Slip-Glazed Stoneware, Northeastern U.S. origin, fourth quarter 19th century, a batter pail, stamped "BRADY & RYAN / ELLENVILLE, N.Y.;" a one-and-a-half-gallon cylindrical crock, stamped "E. NORTON & CO / BENNINGTON VT;" a smaller unmarked crock; an unmarked chamberpot; and a batter pail with molded handles, stamped "6." Ellenville batter pail with some edge wear, missing bail handle, in otherwise excellent condition. Norton crock with several rim chips and a small in-the-making base chip on reverse. Smaller crock with a few small chips to interior of rim. Chamberpot with rim wear. Batter pail with wear to interior of rim, a small spout chip, a small chip to applied tab at shoulder, and glaze spalling. H (of Ellenville batter pail) 9 1/2".
