Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "BURGER & LANG / ROCHESTER, N.Y.," circa 1875, ovoid jug with semi-squared spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a flowering plant with striped details to blossom and petals. Slip-trailed "2" above. Brushed cobalt highlight to maker's mark. A few small chips to interior of spout. Short hairlines to spout. A tiny base chip. Some fry to cobalt. Minor staining. H 14".
