Outstanding Stoneware Presentation Pitcher with Cobalt Flag and Symbol Decoration, Ohio Origin, circa 1860, semi-ovoid form with pinched spout and wide, strap handle. Decorated with a central flag design with stars, stripes, and banner at top of pole. Surrounding the flag are an anchor, compass, flowers, a heart, a spade, and an asterisk. The spout decorated with small dashes of cobalt. Excellent Condition with minor flaws. Small spout chip, very thin 3 1/4" vertical line on reverse, a few base chips, and an in-the-making 3/4" separation line on rim. Height 11"
